Luquillo Sunrise Beach Inn, our newly constructed 17 room guesthouse, is located on the northeast end of Puerto Rico, in the small, sleepy town of Luquillo. We are 45 minutes from the San Juan airport, 2 short blocks from the town plaza and 100 feet from the ocean. Our facility caters to the explorers who wish to experience the numerous nearby attractions, including El Yunque National Rain Forest, eco kayak tours, neighboring islands, driving and snorkeling trips, just to name a few. Or you may want to simply "get away from it all" and work on your tan and enjoy a cool drink on our 1500 sq. ft. patio which offers a great panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding coastline.

Our rooms are clean and comfortable, and all of the rooms on the upper 2 levels have a spacious 11'x6' oceanfront balcony. Amenities include a private tiled bath, in room coffee makers, satellite TV and air conditioning. There is wireless internet service in the Deluxe rooms and in the conference room and terrace. The cool ocean breeze from the tradewinds, and hearing the soothing sound of the ocean waves breaking will relax you during the day and lull you to sleep at night.

All rates include a full hot breakfast daily served on our 2nd floor Ocean View terrace. A small conference room is available for business meetings up to 12 people.

Three Bedroom Casita Caribe Our modest three bedroom and two bath ocean front apartment is in the very front of the building. In one room there is one full size bed. In one room there are two twin beds. And the last bedroom has one queen bed and adjoining full bath. There is another full bath between the two other bedrooms. Also included is a large refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, a living room with sattellite TV and WI-FI. There is a/c in the bedrooms and a spacious covered ocean front porch with seating and a table. Modestly decorated, this room is conveniently priced and ideal for a small group or family looking for an extended stay. Up to six guests would be very comfortable in this room. The Green Room Though not ocean front, The GREEN room is a two bedroom vacation unit with a near carbon free footprint, providing a hands-on and fun experience while educating travelers about sustainable tourism and energy saving living practices while enjoying beautiful sunny Puerto Rico. The green room is our newly completed unit with two bedrooms, one with one queen bed and one with 2 twin beds, plus a couch that can be converted to a twin bed; it has a sitting room and one bathroom. Each room is equipped with a brand new inverter air conditioner and also solar powered ceiling fans. The bathroom has a solar powered fan, large opening window, solar hot water, solar lights and a "regular" light and plug in receptacle for a hairdryer and etc. Each bedroom has a solar ceiling fan and both solar lights and regular light and each bed has a solar reading light. The satellite TV runs off of solar. There is a minifridge and service sink in the sitting area. Both the sitting area and the queen bedroom have opening french doors to a 25 foot long covered porch with a table and chairs, with two loungers, an outdoor beach shower and there are two further loungers on the roof for sunning and also to view the solar panels and solar hot water set ups. The Coqui Room This room, though not ocean front, is very tastefully decorated.
